Application experiments 2008

Compared with 2006 and 2007, field trials were expanded in amount and multiplicity. Samples of FZB24®WG (>5×1010cfu/g>), FZB42® Rhizo Vital (liquid formulation containing >2.5×1010cfu/g) and other fertilizers were used in application experiments performed in different Chinese provinces and with a great variety of Chinese crops of economical importance. An overview about the experiments in 2008 is presented in the table below.

After the treatment, rice bacterial blight was effectively controlled. Mixtures of both Bacillus strains and chemical bactericides provided best protection.
